Marble or Limestone?

Lying in the earth for thousands of years, limestone is an incredibly strong and durable material. Our stonemasons find it easier to work with than others such as granite and marble and this means that they can be very creative in the designs. They can make accurate cuts and clean lines to ensure your bespoke fireplace fits exactly in the place you want it.

Like limestone, Marble is a material that has been lying within the earth for thousands of years. Extreme heat and pressure, cause the minerals to grow and fuse to make beautiful lines and veins that are typical of natural marble. With such a process, your natural marble fireplace will have a unique look and be unlike any other one. Of course, manufacturers have found a way to create a marble that is uniform so if you prefer you can choose one of the many options for your fireplace.

Just had my fire and surround fitted today and absolutely delighted with it. We recently visited a few local places to see gas fires and surrounds, however none of them seemed genuinely interested in providing information. This wasn’t the case when visiting Tim at his premises. He clearly knows his products, is very helpful and is straight talking. Steve and his son (also Steve), installed the fire and both were very efficient, friendly and tidy. Genuine customer service is getting harder to come by these days, however we certainly received it from Tim, Steve and Steve and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services.

The Fireplace has lots of choices Fireplaces. We didn’t need a new fire and we weren’t pressurised into buying one Excellent fitters (James and Cammy )Really pleased with the installation , no mess cleaned up after themselves didn’t have to lift a finger to clean up after they left . We visited the store a few times to finalise our new open fire, Tim talked us through our options, came to measure up and we got a call to install shortly afterwards. Excellent customer service, everything went to plan as Tim had indicated. Recently the Fireplace installed a gas fire and surround for me. I am in the process of a house renovation, and was very pleased that Tim took the time to talk with me about the style of fireplace that would best suit my house, and also reassured me as to my decision – communication was excellent throughout. The installation carried out by James and Cammy was professional and neatly done. They arrived on time, and worked hard to overcome any challenges the house threw up at them.
